On Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and prominent leaders from various parties conveyed their warm wishes for Diwali to the people of Uttar Pradesh. Adityanath expressed on 'X', "Heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, a festival symbolizing the eternal victory of truth, righteousness, and positivity! May the blessings of Lord Ram and Mata Janaki illuminate not just our homes but also our hearts, igniting faith, enthusiasm, and joy in everyone's lives. Jai Jai Siyar Ram!"
Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the main opposition party, the Samajwadi Party (SP), and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, also extended his Diwali, Govardhan Puja, and Bhai Dooj greetings to the citizens of the country.
In a statement released from the SP headquarters, Yadav remarked, "Let everyone celebrate the festival of lights, Diwali, together and respect one another."
Mayawati, the national president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, shared on 'X', "Happy Diwali - heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of Uttar Pradesh and all citizens of the country on this festival of lights."
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya wrote on 'X', "Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all citizens of the country and the state on the festival of Diwali, a symbol of victory of light over darkness, truth over falsehood, and hope over despair!"
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak expressed, "I pray that this auspicious festival of Diwali brings happiness, prosperity, wealth, and joy into your lives."
Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, stated, "Warm greetings and best wishes to all residents of the state on the auspicious festival of Diwali, symbolizing the eternal victory of light over darkness."
